The ankle brace really helped remedy my mystery ankle pain and swelling earlier this year (a possible leftover side-effect from having Covid, not the result of an injury). My ankle swelled up to the point where I lost most of my range of motion and could hardly walk. Stairs became formidable obstacles to be avoided at all cost.
